Ian Wright has said on Premier League Productions that Manchester United central defender Harry Maguire should have been penalised for pulling back Arsenal right-back Takehiro Tomiyasu.
Manchester United got the better of Arsenal 3-2 at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Thursday evening.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice for the Red Devils.
It was quite an entertaining and eventful match which included a rather strange goal from Emile Smith Rowe in the first half.
There was another controversial incident before the break.
United centre-back Maguire appeared to tug Arsenal right-back Tomiyasu’s shirt following a free kick in first-half injury time.
The Japan international dropped to the ground, but referee Martin Atkinson ignored it.

Arsenal legend Wright believes that it was a penalty on Tomiyasu, who earns £57,000 per week (Salary Sport).
Wright said on Premier League Productions: “Harry Maguire has pulled him back. It’s a penalty. A player of that experience doing something like that is crazy.”
Manchester United were better than Arsenal
It was unfortunate for Arsenal that the referee or VAR did not check Maguire’s ‘foul’ on Tomiyasu.
In our opinion, it was a foul and a penalty should have been given to Arsenal.
However, it cannot take away from the fact that United were the better team than Arsenal over the course of the 90 minutes.
Arsenal were defensively sloppy, and Ronaldo punished them.
