Paul Ince has tweeted the message ‘take me home’, following Wolverhampton Wanderers’ dismissal of Walter Zenga yesterday.

Wolves parted company with Zenga just 14 games into his stewardship, following what has been a poor start to the season.

Despite heavy investment in the summer transfer window, Wolves have failed to perform to their maximum potential over the early weeks of the campaign.

The Midlands side are currently in 18th place in the Championship table, and they are already playing catch up in the race for the play offs.

It seems that Ince would like to have a chance to try and lead Wolves up the table, after the message he posted on social media last night.

Wolves fans do not seem to be too sold on Ince becoming their manager though, with many of the reactions towards the former Manchester United’s man’s message being negative.

Ince’s managerial career so far has seen him take charge of the likes of Blackburn Rovers, MK Dons and Macclesfield Town.
