Jamie O’Hara has claimed that he would have the recently-sacked Leeds boss, Marcelo Bielsa, at Tottenham Hotspur if Antonio Conte were to leave, as he told talkSPORT on Monday morning.
On Saturday, Bielsa watched his Leeds United side get thrashed 4-0 by Tottenham.
It turned out to be the final game for the Argentine coach, who would get mixed messages regarding his style of play at Elland Road.
Even though Leeds conceded six at Liverpool in midweek, they still turned up against Spurs over the weekend and were trying to get on the front foot from the get-go.
And when O’Hara was asked, if all goes wrong at Spurs this season, and Conte leaves, then would he take Bielsa as the club’s new coach.
“Yes, I would have Bielsa,” said O’Hara. “I would take him because I think he has got unbelievable intensity, in terms of how he wants his team to play attacking football. And the way they push forward.
“It’s just the way he defends that is nowhere near good enough. It’s absolutely shocking.
“It’s gung-ho football, and as much as that is great to watch, and it is, it gets tiring in the end when you are getting beat 4-0 and 6-0. Then you might win a game and you might say ‘oh, they look great’.”

Spurs fans will be hoping that it is Conte leading them out at the start of next season because that would mean that things have gone really well.
The best-case scenario for the club is for Conte to guide them to Champions League football, the Italian to be backed in the summer market and then Kane to sign a new contract.
If that were to happen, then those in Tottenham colours will start to really believe that they can end their trophy drought.
As for Bielsa, he may have been the entertainer of the Premier League, but, in the end, that 100 miles-per-hour football has cost him his job at Elland Road.
