Leicester City supporters have reacted on Twitter to rumours that Everton are about to sign Demarai Gray.
It was only six months ago that the fast-moving wide player was swapping the King Power for the colours of Bayer Leverkusen.
But fast forward to today and reports suggest that Gray is heading back to England with Everton set to snap up his talents.
Rafa Benitez needs some much-needed speed, directness and natural width on the flanks and it seems Gray will provide that.
Some Leicester fans don’t think Gray will be able to deliver the goods on Merseyside if he does switch to Goodison Park, but others would happily take him back.
A Premier League title-winner, Gray has struggled to deliver the goods on a consistent basis since he swapped the Championship for England’s top-tier.
Even under the stewardship of Brendan Rodgers, who is known to bring through the young players and vastly improve what he has in front of him, couldn’t seem to get the best out of Gray.
Now, Rafa Benitez holds that task in trying to bring the best out of a player who has the silky touch, ball-carrying ability and flair to be a top Premier League player.
