Some West Brom fans on social media have been raving over Dara O’Shea’s performance against West Ham on Tuesday.
The Irish defender was on the losing side against the Hammers, but he put in a great shift, and he deserves a lot of credit for that.
O’Shea faced a tough task on Tuesday, coming up against one of the trickiest wingers in the league in the shape of Said Benrahma, but the Algerian failed to get the better of him on numerous occasions.
O’Shea seemed to be everywhere for West Brom, making seven tackles, two interceptions and blocking two shots, and while West Ham managed to find the back of the net twice, one would imagine that they’d have beaten Sam Johnstone a few more times if O’Shea hadn’t been on top form.
As you can imagine, supporters on social media had a lot of good things to say about O’Shea after this showing, and while there was a lot of reason to be negative after a loss to West Ham, supporters were willing to give the 21-year-old a lot of credit.
