Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to pay part of Layvin Kurzawa’s salary to see the reported West Ham and Newcastle United transfer target go in January, according to Calciomercato.
Kurzawa is out of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans at Le Parc des Princes and likely to leave the club next month. He has only featured once this season, with a nine-minute cameo late on in the Trophee des Champions. But he could not help avoid defeat to LOSC Lille in August.
The 29-year-old has since made Pochettino’s Ligue 1 matchday squad on just one occasion when included on the opening day. He also only made the bench for three of Les Parisiens’ Champions League group stage ties, each time without featuring.

Paris Saint-Germain are now looking to offload Kurzawa in January with a number of clubs alert to his situation. Juventus are among the Frenchman’s admirers, but the Serie A giants trail Lazio with Maurizio Sarri’s Biancocelesti on pole position.
Lazio hold the advantage as the Stadio Olimpico side have been in contact with Kurzawa’s agent for some time. But the left-back’s £89k-a-week wage is proving to be a big obstacle.
PSG, therefore, are ready to help clear Kurzawa’s route out of Paris by paying a proportion of his salary. Les Parisiens could also agree to continue paying some of his wage next term.
West Ham and Newcastle land Kurzawa transfer boost from Paris Saint-Germain
Paris Saint-Germain’s willingness to continue covering some of Kurzawa’s wage also offers Premier League duo West Ham and Newcastle a boost in their respective transfer pursuits.

Reports by Foot Mercato last week noted West Ham are transfer rivals to Lazio and Napoli for Paris Saint-Germain’s Kurzawa. Les Parisiens are also urging their €23m (£19.5m) arrival from Monaco in 2015 to leave, given Pochettino’s lack of support.
Italian publication TuttoMercatoWEB later added Newcastle were emerging as competition amid Lazio’s hunt for Kurzawa’s transfer from Paris Saint-Germain. The Biancocelesti’s need for PSG to pay part of the full-back’s salary was also key to Sarri securing his signature.
Lazio may now move to seal a deal. But West Ham and Newcastle will likely also look fondly on Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain’s position as they target a transfer for Kurzawa.
