It is claimed that Rodon could cost a similar amount to his former Swansea City teammate Oli McBurnie, now of Sheffield United.

Swansea City fans are reacting to reports linking Sheffield United with a move for the Swans centre-back Joe Rodon.
The Blades are leading the race for Rodon’s signature, according to The Sun on Sunday (October 27, page 61).
The newspaper claims the Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder wants to strengthen his back-line in January – despite his side boasting the Premier League‘s joint-second-best defensive record this season.
Swansea are up to fourth in the Championship after Sunday’s derby win against Cardiff, but are said to be vulnerable to big bids for their starlets – having already sold Oli McBurnie to United for around £20 million in the summer transfer window.
And Rodon would not cost much less, according to The Sun on Sunday – although it adds that Sheffield United are ready to spend big again.

Rodon, who turned 22 earlier this month, has four caps for Wales and was previously linked with moves to Manchester City, Aston Villa and Celtic.
And – understandably – there are few of a Swansea persuasion who would be keen to see their homegrown talent – who is sidelined until the New Year – depart…
This is what they are saying on Twitter…
Sheffield United can **** off
