Tottenham Hotspur ace Dejan Kulusevski was in international action on Monday night and the Swedish media have delivered their verdict on his performance.
The international break is reaching its final stages and Premier League action will be back in a matter of days.
Most Premier League managers are probably on edge during international breaks, simply hoping that their star players return without any major injury problems.
Ange Postecoglou will certainly be one of them with Tottenham Hotspur pushing for Champions League qualification.
Spurs went into the international break on such a low point having been beaten 3-0 at Fulham, so Postecoglou and co need to get back on track quickly.
Seeing players turn in positive displays for their countries will be a boost for Postecoglou and that seems to have been the case for winger Dejan Kulusevski.
Kulusevski has already been praised by his new Sweden boss Jon Dahl Tomasson for taking on a leadership role ahead of Monday’s clash with Albania.
Swedish media on Dejan Kulusevski
Sweden managed to claim a 1-0 win as Union Saint-Gilloise striker Gustav Nilsson scored the only goal of the game.
The Swedish media have now delivered their verdict on Kulusevski’s performance with Tomasson grabbing his first win since taking the job.
Svenska Fans rated Kulusevski as one of the better players the pitch, praising him for being ‘much more energetic’ than in Thursday’s defeat to Portugal.
They noted that Kulusevski put some quality balls into the box, including the cross for Nilsson to head home the winner.

“Much more energetic today compared to last time. Works hard and has several interesting passes into the penalty area – one which fixed the victory.”
Fotbollskanalen also praised Kulusevski for performing when ‘the heat was on’, adding that he came up with the decisive moment for the winner.
“Was involved in a lot of offensive activities in the first half and was involved where the heat was on. But without it loosening up in the decisive situations. It did so in the second half when he played well until Gustaf Nilsson’s 1-0 goal.”
That moment of quality from Kulusevski is what Tottenham fans have become used to seeing over the last two years.
The £25million winger continues to show his ability in the final third and his development as a leader will certainly delight Postecoglou.
The Tottenham manager will now hope for a similar assist this weekend as Spurs return to Premier League action against Luton Town.
