Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers are expected to be busy in the transfer market this summer.
Spurs pursuit of Douglas Costa seems to have become a harder task than they first though, with Juventus leading the race to sign the Brazilian winger, according to Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato.
Whilst the quoted price of £30 million seems to be good value for someone of the Bayern Munich man’s quality, he is entirely unproven in the Premier League, and his attitude has been called into question on more than one occasion.
With this in mind, Tottenham should consider switching their focus to Wolves winger Helder Costa, in spite of the Black Country outfit’s chairman insisting that the Portuguese will not be leaving Molineux this summer.
One way that the Lilywhites could tempt Wolves into selling the tricky wide-man is by offering them the services of Josh Onomah on loan for the entirety of the season.

The 20-year-old Spurs youngster would help fill the void left behind by Costa, and his parent club would surely benefit from him playing regularly in the Championship.
England’s second tier is notorious for its’ robust nature, and Onomah would surely improve the physical side of his game, if he were to be exposed to regular first team action with Wolves.
Would offering his services to them for a season be enough to tempt them into selling their prized asset though?
Costa, 23, is valued at £20 million by the Midlands club, according to the Mirror, and if Mauricio Pochettino can convince Daniel Levy and co to part with that kind of cash, Spurs could secure themselves a real bargain in the long-term.
He comes in cheaper than Douglas Costa, is three years younger, and already has vast experience of playing in England.
The deal seems like a no-brainer for all parties concerned.
As much as Wolves will not want to lose the Portuguese winger, there must be a sense of reality at Molineux that they cannot hold on to him for too much longer.
So by striking a deal with Spurs where they would obtain the services of Onomah for one season, along with the hefty sum of £20 million, they could be in a really strong position from which to gain promotion to the Premier League next season.
And Tottenham would undoubtedly improve their potency in the final third with the signing of Costa. He showcased his exceptional talent, pace and skill last term on a regular basis, and his place in the team, alongside the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli would surely be a tantalising prospect for Spurs fans.
