Reports in Italy this week are suggesting that Tottenham Hotspur are set to make a big summer move for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
Tuttomercatoweb is reporting that Spurs are hoping to bring in the talented Croatian international, with an apparent €25 million (£21.8 million) being lined up as an opening bid for the Nerazzurri star.
Spurs have seen their name linked with the player before, with nothing coming of such reports, but on this occasion, could they have an ace in the hole?
Inter Milan are one of the teams who have been linked with a move for Tottenham’s summer signing Moussa Sissoko.
The Mirror reported in November that Inter want to sign the French international. It is not the first time either, in August Sky Sports suggested that Inter wanted him to join from Newcastle United in the summer, but were priced out of any move.

Tottenham signed Sissoko for £30 million in the summer, a deal that caused much surprise, and it has been something of a dud move. Despite starring at the Euros with France in the summer he has struggled to have an impact with Spurs.
Inter however are long-term admirers but financially have never been in a position to get the player. Now they might have a bargaining chip that Spurs want, and Tottenham should consider dealing it in.
