Arsenal fans think that the door has opened for a swap deal to bring Said Benrahma to the Emirates Stadium.

The Irish Daily Mirror (print edition, page 47, 07/10/20) claim that Brentford are keen on taking Arsenal defender William Saliba on loan, with the Gunners preparing to offload their summer signing on a temporary basis.

And Arsenal fans are hoping that if they do let the Bees take Saliba then some sort of deal will be agreed for Benrahma in exchange.

Arsenal have actually been linked with Benrahma throughout the summer so far, with 90 Minutes suggesting that he would be very keen to move to the Emirates Stadium,

Benrahma is considered one of the best players in the Championship, but at his current value he may be out of Arsenal’s price-range.

The Daily Mail say that Benrahma would cost £25 million, and with Arsenal buying Thomas Partey on deadline day, they may not be able to stretch to that fee.

However,if Saliba was allowed to join Brentford, there is hope that they may be able to get him at a discounted price.

If Benrahma was to join Arsenal he would give Mikel Arteta even more options in attack, with the 25-year-old one of the most dangerous attackers outside the Premier League.
