Is Marcelo Brozovic joining Liverpool?
Well that remains to be seen, but we do know the Reds need another midfielder and the Inter Milan man is being linked.
According to Calciomercatoweb last week, the prospect of Liverpool swapping Naby Keita or Roberto Firmino has been touted.
HITC Sport wrote that the Anfield outfit swapping Firmino for the Croatia international would be a remarkable piece of business.
But are Liverpool willing to swap Keita for him? Apparently not.
Christian Falk of Bild, the German outlet, has tweeted out that it is simply ‘not true’ that the Merseysiders could trade their £52 million midfielder for Brozovic this summer.

So, is Marcelo Brozovic joining Liverpool?
Possibly, but according to Falk it isn’t going to be a swap deal of any sort.
Still, this is one that Liverpool should still look into.
With Thiago Alcantara now injured too, Jurgen Klopp desperately needs additional midfielders.
Remember what happened in the 2020-21 campaign when they suffered a lot of injuries to central defenders? Indeed, Klopp’s side wound up scraping qualification to the Champions League, instead of defending their Premier League title.
It’s entirely possible that it could cost Liverpool again this season if they leave themselves short in midfield, with Thiago and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain already injury prone as it is.
Whether Brozovic is the man to come in, however, remains to be seen.
