Well, it would appear as if Nicolas Pepe at Arsenal has a new suitor.
On Monday, Media Foot in France reported that the Gunners winger was now on the radar of Leicester City.
Nice in Ligue 1 had been heavily linked with signing the Arsenal attacker but, if new information is accurate, Brendan Rodgers is an admirer of the player.
And with the North Londoners interested in Youri Tielemans, well perhaps a swap deal is a legitimate prospect.
This past weekend, Dean Jones revealed that Tielemans was Edu’s ‘number one’ transfer target and that a decision would be made on the player ‘very soon’.
Arsenal would have to spend upwards of £30 million on the Belgium international and it makes sense for Edu to offer Pepe to the King Power Stadium outfit in exchange for Tielemans, if Rodgers is genuinely interested in the latter, that is.

The 27-year-old has no future at the Emirates Stadium and Mikel Arteta dropping him from the squad at Bournemouth on Saturday was a relatively solid indication that he’ll probably be leaving the club before the transfer window shuts.
Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey are certainly a solid partnership in midfield but, beyond them, the depth is questionable, with Mohamed Elneny and Sambi Lokonga yet to really prove themselves as quality Premier League players.
Another midfielder is important for Arsenal – particularly with Partey’s injury history – and if it transpires that Pepe is a real target of Leicester, Edu should absolutely float the proposal of a straight swap.
