Sneijder was consistently linked with a move to Old Trafford during the Sir Alex Ferguson era and the paper has suggested Galatasaray will be willing to entertain the idea of a swap deal with Nani heading in the other direction.
However, the Portuguese winger signed a new five-year contract with United over the summer.

Manchester United midfielder Adnan Januzaj is apparently ready to commit his international future to England.
Reports suggest Januzaj is ready to pledge his allegiance to England if the FA can overcome Fifa’s five-year residency rule, which states a player has to live in a country for five-years before he can represent them.
The 18-year-old has been at the centre of a tug of war which has seen six countries battling to get him to pledge his international future to them.

Veteran Manchester United star Ryan Giggs says he’s relishing his role as a coach at the club.
Giggs was appointed to Manchester United’s coaching staff over the summer, while he continues to appear sporadically for the first team.
“I am enjoying my coaching role at Manchester United – it has been great. It hasn’t yet got to the point when I go into the dressing room and everything falls quiet,” Giggs told Manchester Evening News.
