Swansea have had a poor summer of signings under manager Francesco Guidolin.
Swansea’s summer has seen the departure of leading goal scorer Andrew Ayew and captain Ashley Williams. The Welsh side have added to their squad but have failed to bring anyone in on deadline day.
How have Swansea done overall in the transfer window? Will fans be happy with who Guidolin has brought in?
INS:
Leroy Fer

Leroy Fer became Swansea’s first summer signing. Fer made nine appearances on loan for the Swans last season and the 26-year-old joined the Welsh side on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
Fer’s performances this season have left Swansea fans frustrated. Despite being the only goal scorer for the Swans with two goals, the midfielder at times has lacked any motivation and his contribution to the game has sometimes been non-existent.
Van der Hoorn joined Swansea from Ajax
Mike van der Hoorn
Van der Hoorn signed from Ajax for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old was brought in by Guidolin to strengthen the central defence and arrives on a three-year-contract.
Van der Hoorn has yet to make his Premier League debut for the Welsh side, so the jury is out on whether he will make the grade.
Borja Baston
Former Atletico Madrid striker Borja Baston signed for the Swans
Guidolin signed Borja Boston from Atletico Madrid in a deal worth £15 million. The striker was signed to replace Ghana international Andrew Ayew who joined West Ham for £20.5 million.
The Spanish striker is still yet to make his debut for the club after suffering from a thigh injury – missing three weeks of the Swans’ Premier League fixtures.
Fernando Llorente

Swansea signed Spain striker Fernando Llorente from Sevilla for an undisclosed fee. The 31-year-old is yet to score this season and the pressure will gradually build on him the longer it takes for him to break his duck.
Alfie Mason
Alfie Mawson has joined Swansea from Barnsley
Swansea’s last signing of the window was Barnsley defender Alfie Mason. The 22-year-old signed a four-year contract for around £5 million and will need to make a tough step up if he is to succeed in the Premier League.
Major OUTS:
Ashley Williams signed for Everton this summer
Swansea suffered a huge blow losing leading goal-scorer Andrew Ayew to West Ham and captain Ashley Williams to Everton. Both players have played a fundamental part in the Swans success. This summer has also seen the likes of Alberto Paloschi and Eder leave the club.
Grade: D
Swansea have failed to bring in another striker and to replace Ashley Williams with a defender who has a proven track record in the Premier League. The Swans made a bid for West Ham striker Enner Valencia on deadline day, but the striker instead joined Everton on a season-long loan.
With just two first team strikers in their squad, the pressure will be on for Borja Baston and Fernando Llorente to perform. Swansea’s transfer window overall has been extremely disappointing and the January window may become very important if results are tough.
