Newcastle United should consider a move for the Swansea City attacker.
According to Turkish media outlet Fotomac, Besiktas are interested in signing Swansea City’s Andre Ayew, but Newcastle should attempt to beat the Super Lig outfit to the punch.
The 28-year-old forward returned to Swansea from West Ham in January of this year, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £18 million, but he could do nothing to prevent the Welsh outfit’s relegation down to the Championship.
Ayew still has a lot to offer at the highest level, though, and he could be a real asset to Newcastle.

The 75-capped Ghana international can play anywhere along the front-line, and plays with a certain kind of energy and pace that would undoubtedly help Newcastle improve upon the potency of their attacking play.
With Matt Ritchie reportedly edging ever closer to an exit from St James’ Park, Rafa Benitez will surely be looking to bring another left-footed attacker into the club, and Ayew would be the perfect fit for the Toon.
The Swansea forward is extensively experienced in playing at the very highest level for a sustained period of time, as well as earning 75 international caps for Ghana – a really impressive tally for someone who is just 28-years-old.
Following the Welsh side’s relegation last season, they will surely be open to the idea of selling Ayew if the price is right, but Newcastle will need to sell first before they can buy.
The Magpies would surely be able to bring the Ghanaian to Tyneside if they offer somewhere in the region of the £18 million that Swansea paid for him in January, and if they manage to sign him, it could turn out to be a really significant piece of business for Newcastle.
