Tottenham Hotspur defender Cameron Carter-Vickers is reportedly on Swansea City’s radar.

According to The Sun, Premier League club Tottenham are ready to send central defender Carter-Vickers out on loan to Championship Swansea for the 2018-19 season.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that the 20-year-old – who earns £20,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – is due to join the Swans this week.
Swansea manager Potter has responded to the speculation, and told Wales Online when asked about the USA international: “Again I don’t want to speak about guys who are not here. This is just how I am.
“Nice try! He is not our player. I would say it is fair we are looking to strengthen at centre-half.
“Joe and Mike have done well and been positive but clearly from a numbers perspective that is an area we can look to strengthen.”

Moving to Swansea City
Potter seems coy about his (reported) interest in Carter-Vickers, and his comments do suggest that Swansea are looking at the Tottenham defender.
After all, the Swansea manager could have easily said that he is not interested in the 20-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Sheffield United and Ipswich Town.
The USA international defender is very talented and promising, and the 20-year-old would be a good signing for the Swans in their quest to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.
