Leeds United missed out on making the Championship play-off final in incredible circumstances.

Plenty of Swansea City fans have mocked Leeds United on Twitter, believing that their failure to get promoted out of the Championship has dashed any remaining hope of signing Daniel James this summer.
James is a player that has never been too far away from the Whites fans’ thoughts during the second-half of this season. The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that he was all set to complete a move to Elland Road during the January transfer window before the Swans stopped taking Leeds’ calls in the final hours before the deadline.
After that, the Whites toiled in the promotion race. While Marcelo Bielsa’s side were struggling to get themselves over the line, James produced an outstanding run of form that has left him being linked with Premier League heavyweights ahead of the summer (via Yorkshire Evening Post).

But Bielsa’s side will be playing Championship football again next year after the most incredible play-off semi-final with Derby on Wednesday.
And with that, several Swansea fans have taken to Twitter to mock Leeds as they believe that their hopes of signing James are all but over.

Here is how some of the Swans supporters reacted to the Whites’ play-off defeat…
