Tottenham Hotspur loanee Cameron Carter-Vickers had an afternoon to forget at the weekend.

A number of Swansea City fans have taken to Twitter to slam Tottenham loanee Cameron Carter-Vickers after his performance in their 4-0 defeat at the weekend.
Graham Potter’s side squandered what proved to be a great chance to move up the Championship table as they were beaten emphatically by Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
Carter-Vickers retained his spot at the heart of the defence having enjoyed a decent run in the side in recent weeks. Saturday’s game was his 18th league start of the campaign since joining on loan from Spurs in the summer.
But perhaps Potter may now be considering whether to keep him in the side for this week’s clash with Rotherham. The 21-year-old did not have the best day as he struggled on the ball. He perhaps did not make any glaring mistakes, but was definitely not strong enough in the challenge with Tomer Hemed as the striker went on to score the home side’s second goal.

And unfortunately for Carter-Vickers, the Swansea fans on social media have not been particularly understanding when assessing his performance.
Some are surprised that he remains on Tottenham’s books, and others are adamant that Joe Rodon should return to the starting lineup for the Rotherham game next time.

Here is what some of the Swans fans made of the Spurs loanee’s performance…
