The Swansea City striker has been on loan at Crystal Palace.

Swansea City fans are reacting to reports linking Jordan Ayew with a permanent transfer to Crystal Palace.
According to The Sun, the on-loan Swansea striker is wanted as Roy Hodgson’s first summer signing at Palace.
Ayew joined the Eagles on a season-long deal at the start of the campaign, and has gone on to score or make four goals in 23 games.
Nevertheless, the newspaper claims that Swansea stand to receive most of the £5 million they paid Aston Villa for the Ghanaian – whom it adds Crystal Palace see as a ‘decent squad player’ – two years ago.
If true, the news should come as a welcome boost to Swansea, who have made little secret of their need to cut costs as they face up to a second successive season outside of the Premier League.
And many of a Swans persuasion appear to agree.
This is what they’re saying on Twitter…

Getting shot of the Mardy **** is awesome, someone paying for him priceless 🙂
Ayew, whose brother Andre is also on Swansea’s books, is due to enter the final year of his contract this summer.
The younger sibling has scored or made 18 goals in 58 games for the Welsh side.

Would the Swansea striker make a good permanent addition for Crystal Palace?
