Swansea City are reportedly interested in signing Leeds United striker Chris Wood in the summer transfer window.

Swansea City are one of the three Premier League clubs who are showing keen interest in Leeds United striker Chris Wood, the other two being Stoke City and Southampton.

The Mirror reported earlier this week that three Premier League clubs are tracking the 25-year-old striker, who finished as Championship’s top scorer last season with 27 goals.

However, it won’t be easy to prise him away from Elland Road as Leeds have reportedly slapped a massive £20 million price tag on Wood to ward off Premier League suitors.

Earlier this month, Middlesbrough have signed Nottingham Forest striker Britt Assombalonga for £15 million, and Leeds believe Wood is worth more than that.

Leeds are not keen to sell the New Zealand international, who has two years left on his contract.

Swansea fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to express their reaction on the transfer speculation. And judging by their reactions, it seems that they aren’t impressed at all.
