Jefferson Montero joined Getafe on loan from Swansea.

Swansea City winger Jefferson Montero clinched a loan move to the La Liga club Getafe on Friday afternoon, as confirmed by the Premier League club.
The Ecuador international, who has 63 caps under his belt, returns to Spain where he has previously played for Villarreal, Levante and Real Betis.

Montero joined Swansea City in 2014 and has 53 Premier League appearances for the Wales outfit. Last season, he made 23 appearances, without scoring a goal.
He has failed to feature under Paul Clement this season, and was keen to move away from the Liberty Stadium. Montero has three years remaining on his present contract, but he probably doesn’t feature in Clement’s plans.

Montero did well in his first season at Swansea, but struggled with injuries last season.
Swansea fans took to Twitter to express their reaction, and they were happy to see him move elsewhere. Here are some of the reactions:
The Swans have added Renato Sanches (on loan from Bayern Munich) and Wilfried Bony to their squad on the transfer deadline day.
