The Wales ace completed his move from the Swans to the Red Devils on Wednesday.
Swansea City have posted a Twitter message wishing Daniel James all the best and thanking him following his move to Manchester United (official Swans website).
The 21-year-old has become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first signing at Old Trafford, joining for a fee reported by Sky Sports as being £15million, plus £3million in add-ons, and agreeing a five-year deal following an impressive breakthrough season at the Liberty Stadium.
James joined Swansea’s academy from Hull City in 2014 and rose through the ranks before being handed his first-team debut in February 2018, coming on as a substitute and scoring in the 8-1 thrashing of Notts County in the FA Cup.
However, it was in the season just gone where the winger truly emerged as a key player, making 38 appearances in all competitions – including 33 in the Championship – and scoring five goals as well as contributing 10 assists, according to Transfermarkt.
Swansea’s tweet included an emotional video clip of James’s highlights at the club, finishing off with a “thank you” message:

James also made his Wales debut in 2018-19, first being capped in the friendly defeat to Albania in November 2018, has won four caps in total, scoring the winner in the 1-0 victory over Slovakia in their Euro 2020 qualifier in March (Transfermarkt).
