Several senior Swans men, including Gylfi Sigurdsson, are away with their national teams for World Cup qualifiers.

Bob Bradley’s Swansea City are in the midst of a terrible run of form. Winless since the opening day, the Welsh outfit sit second bottom in the Premier League and it already looks as if it may be a long winter at the Liberty Stadium.

With all this in mind, perhaps this international break has come at a good time, allowing the squad to recharge their batteries and regroup. Some of them face no such rest, however, as they are representing their countries across the globe.

Friday evening sees the much-anticipated clash between England and Scotland at Wembley, and Stephen Kingsley is part of the visiting squad.

If selected, Swansea’s left-back could be in for a tough night against the in-form Theo Walcott; Swans fans can see how he fares at 7.45pm on ITV1.

Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is part of the Poland set up for their match in Romania, also on Friday evening at 7.45pm.

Poland are second in Group E but will be leapfrogged by their opponents if they are defeated, so it is an important match for Fabianski and his countrymen. The match is live on Sky Sports 1 via the red button.

On Saturday, Gylfi Sigurdsson will be representing Iceland as they face a tricky tie in Croatia. The two sides are level on seven points at the top of Group I, and this weekend is likely to be the toughest test of the qualifiers for Sigurdsson’s side.

To see how the Swans star fares for his country, switch on Sky Sports 2 at 5pm on Saturday afternoon.

Later on, Wales face Serbia in an important Group D tie. Neil Taylor is the sole Swans representative in Chris Coleman’s squad, who need three points having disappointed in the draw with Georgia last time out.

Welsh supporters can see the game on Sky Sports 1 at 7.45pm.

Sunday sees the Netherlands travel to Luxembourg for a Group A clash. Danny Blind’s side are three points adrift of France and Sweden going into the weekend, and Leroy Fer has received a late call up as he looks to add to his 11 caps.

That match is live on Sky Sports 4 at 5pm.
