The Swansea City hitman would be a great addition to the West Ham United squad.
West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic
The Hammers endured a bitterly disappointing 2016/17 Premier League campaign, and this summer will be a vitally important one for Slaven Bilic, as he looks to right the wrongs the club made with regards to player recruitment last year, after a whole host of distinctly average signings were made.
One particular area of the Croatian’s squad where he will be looking to improve is the forward department, and with Andy Carroll’s injury problems being well documented, the addition of a target man-type striker will surely feature highly on his wish-list this summer.

With this in mind, a fantastic option for West Ham would be Swans striker Fernando Llorente, who enjoyed an incredibly successful campaign for the Welsh outfit last term, scoring 15 goals, and helping his side avoid relegation in the process.
The 32-year-old former Athletic Bilbao and Juventus striker is entering the twilight years of his career, but he still has so much to offer at the highest level, after keeping himself in tip-top condition following his move to the Premier League last summer.
He has a proven track record, and has impressed everywhere he has been. He would be the ideal signing for the Hammers, and would be a far more reliable option than Andy Carroll.
Fernando Llorente
The Spaniard is strong in the air, good with his feet, and has an intelligent football brain. He would link up wonderfully well with another forward who is smaller in stature – someone in the ilk of Diafra Sakho or Andre Ayew, or even Jermain Defoe, who the club have been heavily linked with in recent months.
Llorente’s contract at the Liberty Stadium has just one-year left to run, and West Ham should take advantage of this by offering a fairly substantial fee for the striker.
The shape he has kept himself in means that he should be able to play at the top level for at least another three years, so any offer in the region of £10 million will surely be deemed as good business for both sides.
