Swansea City winger Jefferson Montero will wait to see a specialist after fracturing his hand against Manchester United on the weekend.
Jefferson Montero has been dealt another injury set-back after fracturing a bone in his hand during Swansea City’s defeat to Manchester United at the Liberty Stadium on the weekend, the BBC reports.
The Ecuador international returned from injury to face Manchester United after being sidelined with a calf problem and he could return to the treatment room for another spell with this fresh injury scare.
Swansea City say he will see a specialist to determine the extent of the injury and whether he will need to miss any Premier League action.

Players commonly continue playing with broken hands or wrists with the use of a soft cast but it often depends on the severity and positioning of the injury.
Thankfully for Montero, he now has two weeks to recover with the international break coming at a good time for him. However, it does mean he will miss international duty with Ecuador.
Swansea thoroughly missed Montero’s threat during his time away with a calf injury and will be hoping he isn’t kept out almost instantly after returning.

The wingers last game before returning against Manchester United was a 2-0 away loss to Southampton on September 18th.
Bob Bradley will certainly need to keep his squad injury-free if he wants the best chance of keeping his side in the Premier League.
The Swans are six points from safety in 19th and a poor performance on the weekend saw them booed off by the home supporters.
