Swansea City host Liverpool at the Liberty Stadium in Saturday’s early kickoff.
Saturday afternoon sees Swansea take on Liverpool as the Reds travel to the Liberty Stadium.
Last season the same fixture provided a huge surprise as Francesco Guidolin’s side secured a 3-1 victory, their first against the Reds since 2012.
This season both sides have had vastly different starts and sit at different ends of the table.
Swansea are currently 17th with just four points from six games. The Reds meanwhile sit fourth in the table with 13 points from their first six games.
Midfielders Gylfi Sigurdsson and Adam Lallana play a key role for both sides, so we decided to take a look at who has had the better start to the campaign.

As it turns out it is Lallana, who came out on top in all eight of the areas that we looked at.
So far this season he has registered more accurate passes, more successful final third passes per game and enjoyed a better overall passing accuracy.
That has led to him registering more key passes per game, with his tally of 1.5 beating Sigurdsson’s score of 0.83.

He has also posted more successful dribbles per game and has lost possession fewer times per game than the Iceland star.
His domination is notable when it comes to goals and assists, having registered three of each so far compared to Sigurdsson’s score of one in each area.
A dominant win for Lallana then and Liverpool will be hoping for more of the same when they travel to Wales on Saturday.
