Swansea City host Liverpool at the Liberty Stadium in Saturday’s early kick-off.
Saturday afternoon sees Swansea take on Liverpool as the Reds travel to the Liberty Stadium.
Last season the same fixture proved to be a huge surprise as Francesco Guidolin’s side secured a 3-1 victory, their first against the Reds since 2012.
This season both sides have had vastly different starts and sit at opposite ends of the table. Swansea are currently 17th in the table with just four points from six games. The Reds, meanwhile, sit fourth with 13 points.
A key battle on Saturday will be in the middle of the park, with midfielders Leroy Fer and Jordan Henderson facing off.
But which centre midfielder has had the better start to the campaign? We decided to take a look.
As it turns out it was Henderson, who came out on top in five of the eight areas looked at.

So far he has won more tackles per game and posted more ball recoveries per game than the Dutchman.
He has also made more accurate passes and more key passes per game, as well as registering a better overall passing accuracy.
Interestingly, though, the two players are level when it comes to assists, with neither registering one yet.
Fer comes out on top when it comes to interceptions, having won more per game, while he has also managed three goals compared to Henderson’s one.
It is an overall win for the Liverpool captain though and Liverpool will be hoping for more of the same when the two sides clash on Saturday.
