Swansea City winger Jefferson Montero has been cleared to play with the hand injury he picked up against Manchester United last weekend.
Swansea City have been handed a boost with Jeffeson Montero being cleared to play with a broken hand he suffered during the 3-1 loss to Manchester United last weekend.
Montero had previously missed weeks of the Premier League season after picking up a troubling calf injury and suffered another set-back when he returned against Jose Mourinho’s men at the Liberty Stadium.
The Ecuador international saw a specialist this week to find out whether he could play with a soft protective cast or whether the broken bone required a traditional solid cast.

Swansea City confirmed Montero has been cleared to face Everton at Goodison Park after the international break with a soft cast.
Montero withdrew from international duty this week and is now expected to train with Swansea City over the next few days.
A statement on the club website read: “Having seen a specialist yesterday, he (Montero) was given the go ahead to continue training and playing in a cast”.
Swansea City manager Bob Bradley
The news will come as a real boost for Bob Bradley as he desperately attempts to get his team firing. The American coach is yet to win a game during his time in charge at the Liberty Stadium and the fans aren’t pleased.
The Swans sit just one goal from the bottom of the Premier League table and six points from safety, and they face another tricky set of fixtures when they come back after the international break.
Bob Bradley will be hoping Montero can help kick-start their season when they travel to Merseyside next weekend,
