Swansea City lead the betting for Silva, in whom Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton are said to be interested.
Swansea City are one bookmaker’s favourites to sign Andre Silva in January – ahead of linked clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton.
Sky Bet opened a market on Silva’s next club over the weekend, after Wolves and Everton were credited with interest in the AC Milan striker.
But it is Swansea who lead the early betting, albeit at 7/1, with Wolves and Everton 9/1 and 11/1 respectively.
Silva has scored eight goals in 23 games since his £34 million move from FC Porto last summer – although he is still awaiting his first Serie A strike having made only four league starts so far.
AC Milan’s sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli insisted last week, however, that the 22-year-old remains an important player for the Rossoneri.
Silva is represented by the Gestifute agency, which has strong links to Wolves, but may also fancy a move to Swansea, who recently hired Portuguese Carlos Carvalhal as head coach and employ Silva’s Portugal teammate Renato Sanches.
The Sun reports that Swansea, who sit bottom of the Premier League, are set to make a club-record £25 million bid for Atletico Madrid striker Kevin Gameiro.
