Swansea City have joined the battle for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.
Tammy Abraham looks dejected
Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has told BBC Sport that the club are targeting Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham – and noted that he now has a decision to make on his future.
Abraham, 19, has come up through the ranks with Chelsea, but he has made just two first-team appearances for the Blues, and spent last season on loan at Bristol City.
The striker was a sensation at Ashton Gate, smashing 26 goals in 48 games in all competitions before heading back to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Despite questions over Diego Costa’s future with Chelsea, Michy Batshuayi being linked with an exit and Dominic Solanke moving on to Liverpool, there still doesn’t appear to be room in the Chelsea attack for Abraham to feature next season.
Another loan move looks to be on the cards, but after excelling in the Championship last season, a switch to a Premier League rival seems to be Chelsea’s intention this time around.

Now, Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has spoken to BBC Sport, and revealed that the Swans are interested in landing Abraham on loan this summer, with manager Paul Clement looking to use links at Chelsea to strike a deal.
Jenkins noted that Abraham now has three offers to choose from, with newly-promoted duo Brighton and Newcastle also believed to be in the race for his signature this summer.
England’s Tammy Abraham
“He’s a young and up and coming player we are interested in,” said Jenkins. “Tammy does not have Premier League experience, but we are interested. Paul knows him from Chelsea.”
“If you look at the options which have been publicised, (they are) Brighton, Newcastle and ourselves, so it is left to Tammy and his family to decide where he wants to go next,” he added.
Having long looked like he would sign for Newcastle, Abraham now has a tough choice to make – and Magpies boss Rafael Benitez will be sweating over his move for the teenage striker now, especially given that Abraham is away on international duty with the England Under-21’s and a decision may not be imminent.
