Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are among the clubs reportedly interested in Daniel James of Swansea City.

Swansea City manager Graham Potter has admitted to WalesOnline that he does not know if Daniel James has played his last game for the club, amid reported interest from Leeds United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur among other clubs.

Interested clubs

According to The Daily Mail, Premier League club Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in signing James from Championship outfit Swansea in the summer transfer window.

The Daily Star has claimed of Leeds’s interest in securing the services of the 21-year-old in the January transfer window, and has reported that the Whites want to bring him to Elland Road in the summer of 2019.

WalesOnline has reported of interest in James – who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder – from Tottenham, Manchester City, Bournemouth and Leicester City.

Encouraging comments

With the Championship season having come to an end for Swansea, the Welsh club’s manager Potters has admitted that he does not know if the 21-year-old Wales international has played his final game for the Swans – which is encouraging for the likes of Leeds, Liverpool and Tottenham, as his comments suggest that Swansea could sell him.

Potter told WalesOnline when asked if James has played his final game for Swansea: “I don’t know is the answer. No-one can see into the future as with all of the players. It’s football, it’s part of the industry.”
