Wolverhampton Wanderers are looking to strengthen their side and are allegedly interested in Lazio’s Brazilian defender Wallace.

According to the latest show from Rome-based radio station, Radiosei, broadcasted at around 7:20am (BST) on 25 June, both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sporting Lisbon are interested in Lazio’s Brazilian centre-back Wallace.
After completing the signing of Rui Patricio, Wolves are looking for more ways to bolster their defence, while Lisbon are looking to rebuild in the aftermath of the reported attack on their training centre, which led to some top players terminating their contracts with the Liga NOS side.

Lazio, with a plethora of adept defensive options, no longer need Wallace and the thought was that the biancoceleste would part with either the Brazilian or Angolan defender Bastos this summer.
Wallace, 23, joined Lazio from Braga and is said to have a lot of potential for growth.
He played just 17 times in all competitions for Lazio this season, winning an average of 1.4 aerials, 1.3 tackles, 2.2 interceptions and 2.5 clearances per game and he could be a fine addition for Wolves.

According to TransferMarkt, Wallace is valued at £6.75 million but, with a contract until 2021, Wolves may have to pay upwards of £15 million for the defender’s services.
They certainly have the cash to do that if they wish to make their interest concrete.
