Santos FC have a 25 per cent resale percentage on Lazio winger Felipe Anderson and West Ham United have allegedly asked them to reduce it.

According to Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte, West Ham United have asked Santos FC to lower the future sale fee agreed between the Brazilian side and Serie A club Lazio for Felipe Anderson.
Anderson has been a West Ham target for over a month now and, despite earlier reports indicating a deal was close and that the player has agreed terms with the East London club, Lazio and West Ham are currently apart in negotiations.

UOL Esporte suggests that West Ham’s current bid is between £25 million and £30 million while Lazio are said to be after closer to £40 million.
West Ham have reportedly asked Santos FC to lower the sell-on percentage from 25% down to around 10%.
However, the same reports suggest that José Carlos Peres, the president of Santos FC, will not be giving in to West Ham’s demands and therefore the East London side may hunt for an alternative option.

Felipe Anderson has fallen out with the management at Lazio after being replaced in the starting XI by breakout star and former Liverpool man Luis Alberto.
The player wants to leave but Lazio president Claudio Lotito is in no rush to sell; delivering a passionate anti-selling speech the other day in which he said that “the club does not need to sell”.
