The Stoke City winger has been linked with a move away, and Huddersfield Town look to have secured Sobhi’s signature.

After Stoke City’s relegation from the Premier League, a mass exodus is on the cards over the summer. Xherdan Shaqiri has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool and matters appear to be getting worse for Stoke City fans.
According to reports from Egyptian sports website KingFut, 21-year-old Egyptian winger Ramadan Sobhi is desperate to stay in the Premier League and has agreed a deal to join Huddersfield Town.

This report is supported as the Egyptian FA Saturday tweeted that Sobhi was being allowed to temporarily leave international duty to return to England to have his medical at Huddersfield. Having signed for Stoke for a fee of around €6 million from Al Ahly in 2016, the young forward has shown plenty of potential.
Sobhi played 27 times for Stoke this season, as the club struggled to perform and were consequently relegated. In these games, he scored three times and managed an average of 0.6 key passes, 1.3 successful dribbles and 1.3 tackles per game.

At the age of 21, there is huge potential in the young winger and Huddersfield are thought to be eager to get the deal completed as quickly as possible. As all eyes turn to Egypt for the World Cup, the pressure will be on Ramadan Sobhi as he seeks to prove that Huddersfield’s faith is justified.
