West Ham United receive a potential boost in their pursuit of Lazio’s Felipe Anderson as Biancoceleste allegedly line up Middlesbrough’s Martin Braithwaite.

As West Ham United try to get a deal wrapped up for Serie A side Lazio’s tricky Brazilian winger Felipe Anderson, they will receive a boost after the latest reports from Italian paper Corriere dello Sport indicate that Lazio have lined up a replacement.

The target is Middlesbrough forward Martin Braithwaite. The 27-year-old Danish forward was recently at the World Cup, before Denmark exited in a penalty shootout against a strong Croatian side.
Braithwaite is contracted to Boro but spent the second half of the 2017/18 season at Bordeaux, where he scored four goals in 14 games.

It appears as though Lazio are lining up the Dane to replace Felipe Anderson and therefore West Ham fans could gain confidence in their pursuit of the Brazilian.
Braithwaite scored just six goals in 21 games for Middlesbrough and appears to be seeking a way out of the North of England already.
Lazio would be wise to ensure sufficient cover before waving goodbye to the Brazilian but it seems west Ham could be a step closer to securing a switch of their own.
