Newcastle United are once again interested in signing Renato Sanches – a player Sven Botman absolutely loves.
The Magpies are assessing their midfield options ahead of the summer transfer window.
A midfield anchor man and a playmaker would be ideal for Newcastle this summer as Eddie Howe looks to take the Magpies to the next level.
One interesting rumour emerged earlier in March as 90Min reported last week that Newcastle are keen on Renato Sanches.
It was suggested that Newcastle are asking to be kept informed of PSG’s plans surrounding Sanches this summer.
Signed from Lille last summer, Sanches has only managed to start three Ligue 1 games this season.
A summer departure appears to be on the cards, and Newcastle are seemingly interested in the Portugal international.
If Newcastle do make a move for Sanches this summer, Magpies defender Sven Botman would be delighted.

Sven Botman is a big fan of Newcastle target Renato Sanches
The move would see Botman reunite with Sanches having played together for Lille.
Back in September, Botman took to Instagram to call Sanches ‘special’ as their bond remained even though their careers went separate ways.
The pair could be back together soon enough though with Newcastle potentially their new home together.
Botman and Sanches played together 45 times during their time in France.
Their record in those 45 games was hugely impressive, remarkably losing just eight times.
Botman and Sanches combined for 24 wins and 13 draws in that period, earning rave reviews together.
A move for Sanches could be exciting enough for Newcastle fans given his quality as a box-to-box midfielder, but if joining up with Botman again can recapture that kind of form, Magpies fans would be loving it.
