Celtic surpassed the British unbeaten record against St. Johnstone while Rangers beat Partick Thistle on Saturday.

Chris Sutton has posted his Scottish Premiership team of the week on Twitter, naming four Celtic players and three Rangers stars in the side following wins for both Old Firm outfits.
Brendan Rodgers watched his side surpass the British record of going unbeaten in domestic matches, as the Hoops swept aside St. Johnstone 4-0 to go 63 outings without losing in Scottish football.
Goals from Scott Sinclair, Moussa Dembele and Olivier Ntcham as well as own goal from Steven Anderson saw the Hoops secure their ninth league win in 12 over the Saints.

However, they failed to increase the gap between themselves and bitter rivals Rangers, who were equally as impressive with a 3-0 win at Ibrox over Partick Thistle with Ross McCrorie, Daniel Candeias and Josh Windass finding the back of the net.
Celtic icon Sutton posted his team of the week on his official Twitter account, naming James Forrest, Kieran Tierney, Stuart Armstrong and Dembele from the Hoops, as well as Jason Holt, Candeias and McCrorie from Rangers.
Forrest starred in his role at right-back, after proving to be one of the best players on the park in Celtic’s brave 2-1 loss to Bayern Munich on Tuesday night. He will join Tierney and Armstrong in representing Scotland against Netherlands on Thursday.

Dembele notched up his sixth goal of the season in 12 matches, while McCrorie scored his first ever goal for the Gers to open the scoring against St. Johnstone.
Sutton also chose Candeias, who has proven to be arguably Pedro Caixinha’s best signing at Rangers, with interim boss Graeme Murty impressing in his temporary role in charge.
