Paul Merson has predicted in SportsKeeda that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will lose against Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday.
The former Arsenal star and Sky Sports pundit has backed Manchester United to pick up all three points from the encounter against Liverpool courtesy of a 2-1 win.
Liverpool are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 39 points from 24 matches.
Meanwhile, United currently find themselves third in the standings with 49 points from 24 games.

Merson wrote: “This is how quickly football changes. You’d be surprised if Manchester United got beaten here.
“How many times have we been able to say that about this game in the last few years? The way Manchester United are playing, they will take the game to Liverpool.
“They are excellent on the counter and their players seem to make the right decisions whenever they break.
“United will want Liverpool to have a go at them so that they can hit them on the counter. Klopp’s side could play right into United’s hands on Sunday.
Draw more likely
In our view, the Premier League match between Liverpool and Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday will end in a draw.
United are in better form right now and are also playing better than the Reds.
Erik ten Hag’s side are defensively very strong now, and in forward Marcus Rashford, they have a player who is scoring goals for fun.
However, Liverpool have started to get into form, are keeping clean sheets, and are winning matches.
And the match is at Anfield.
We do not expect Liverpool to lose to United in front of their own fans.
However, we do not think that the Reds are good enough at this point in time to beat United.
