Dawson has now played three times for West Ham and his new side are yet to concede a goal when he has been on the pitch.
Dawson actually scored the winner for David Moyes’s men yesterday, as they stumbled past Stockport to book their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
And West Ham fans admit that they have been stunned by the positive impact that Dawson has made.
Dawson may actually now have a chance to nail down his place in West Ham’s line-up, if he continues with his current form.
West Ham are next in action against Burnley at the weekend, and Dawson surely now has a strong claim to start again in that contest.
