The Chelsea striker would be an excellent addition to the West Bromwich Albion squad this month.
Baggies boss Alan Pardew will surely be looking to bolster his ranks at the Hawthorns this month, with his side currently deeply embroiled in a relegation battle.
West Brom sit precariously in 19th position in the Premier League table, four points adrift of safety, and things are looking pretty bleak for them at the moment.
Their tally of just 16 Premier League goals scored is the second worst in the top flight, and the addition of an established striker will surely feature highly on Pardew’s January wish-list.

With this in mind, the Baggies should consider joining the race to sign Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi on loan.
The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Newcastle United, according to the Telegraph, but it could be argued that West Brom’s need for the Blues hitman is greater than the Magpies’.
Batshuayi has really struggled since moving to Stamford Bridge from Marseille in the summer of 2016, but it could be argued that he has never really been given a fair opportunity to showcase his true worth.
The Belgian possesses pace in abundance, and his ability to stretch the opposition’s defence is exactly what the Baggies need.
He would undoubtedly add more potency to their play in the final third, and at the very least would offer Pardew an entirely different option in forward areas.
The Baggies boss is obviously a big fan of the Chelsea hitman – he tried to sign him in 2016 during his spell in charge of Crystal Palace, according to the Independent.
Maybe it could be second time lucky for Pardew, and if he manages to bring him to the Hawthorns, it could turn out to be the signing that keeps the Black Country outfit in the Premier League.
With the January transfer window now open, this will certainly be one for West Brom fans to keep a close eye on.
