Tottenham and Everton fans on Twitter have dismissed the idea of their side pushing for Arkadiusz Milik’s signature in January after rumours emerged.

Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb have claimed that both Spurs and Everton will push for the Napoli forward when the transfer window re-opens in the New Year.

It is said that the 26-year-old, who has worked with Carlo Ancelotti, was touted for a move away from Naples in the summer, but moves to potential suitors Juventus, Everton and Spurs fell through.

Spurs signed a much-needed back-up striker before the European transfer slammed shut when they secured the services of Carlos Vinicius.

Therefore, those in North London made it clear that they don’t need Milik, whilst Everton fans feel they were never interested in him in the first place.

There’s no doubt that this rumour will linger on for a while and it wouldn’t be a surprise if it rears its head once again when the winter window slams wide open again.

Tottenham Hotspur’s summer signings

  1. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

    £15 million; Southampton

  2. Joe Hart

  3. Matt Doherty

    £13 million; Wolves

  4. Sergio Reguilon

  5. Gareth Bale

    Loan; Real Madrid

  6. Carlos Vinicius

    Loan; Benfica

  7. Joe Rodon

    £12 million; Swansea

But given the healthy window, both Spurs and Everton have had, their fans aren’t seemingly interested in bringing Milik to the club.
