Manchester City fans have taken to Twitter in anger after Sky Sports included Liverpool in their Champions League final graphic.

Sky Sports were discussing the upcoming clash between the Citizens and Chelsea in their studio.

In the background, a graphic of Thomas Tuchel and Pep Guardiola can be seen, although a larger photo of Steven Gerrard dominates the shot.

Understandably, Manchester City fans are annoyed that a Liverpool icon is dominating the scene after they reached their first Champions League final.

In defence of Sky Sports, Liverpool’s 2005 Champions League win was in Istanbul, which is where this year’s final is planned to be held.

That gives their photo of Gerrard some relevance, at least.

However, to have him dominate the shot, as Guardiola and Tuchel are squashed to the side, seems a bit odd.

This is Manchester City’s first ever Champions League final.

Additionally, it is Chelsea’s second appearance in a Champions League final.
