Questions remain over Leeds United head coach Garry Monk’s future, but he is currently showing no signs of wanting to move on.
The former Swansea boss has a contract which is set to expire in June, causing plenty of nervousness among fans.
Monk also continues to be linked with Premier League jobs when they arise. This can be taken with a pinch of salt mid-season, but if Leeds fail in their promotion hunt, concern will grow.
Yesterday Monk offered perhaps one of his clearest indications yet he wants to stay put, speaking glowingly about his life at the club.

Monk’s press conferences and interviews are often very formulaic, as if he is speaking from a management manual, effortless in giving very little away.
At the end of Thursday’s interview with BBC Radio Leeds’ Adam Pope, he spoke with a rare candour, letting the manager mask drop ever so slightly.
He said: “I love it. I love working with this group. They’ve been fantastic.
“I enjoy coming into work every day, pushing this group for their maximum, as do all my staff, and seeing them go out there on the weekend and try and deliver their best.
“We know at their best they can be a very good team, thats the motivation why we get up in the morning and work as hard as we do.”
Monk is full of enthusiasm and knows just how highly he has achieved this season, exceeding the expectations of most pundits who did not regard them as serious contenders for the play-off places.
Whatever his future holds, his season will end with his reputation enhanced and restored.
Leeds have his full attention and enthusiasm for now, and in the fickle world of management, why should he leave a job he loves for a false greener pastures elsewhere?
