Glasgow Rangers striker Joe Dodoo is set to return to Ibrox.

Rangers are welcoming back a number of players who former manager Pedro Caixinha deemed surplus to requirements at Ibrox last summer.
Andy Halliday and Michael O’Halloran are set to return to Rangers following loan spells at Gabala and St Johnstone respectively.

It’s not unthinkable that those two could play a role in Graeme Murty’s plans, but one returning Ger who surely won’t be sticking around for long is Joe Dodoo.
The former Leicester City attacker is set for a return to Glasgow following a disastrous half-season loan at Charlton Athletic in League One.

Dodoo only managed one goal in five League One games. He hadn’t played for Karl Robinson’s side in the league since September but he was still an unused sub in 15 subsequent Charlton games, which probably illustrates how much Robinson rated him.
The 22-year-old striker, a £250,000 signing (Daily Mail) under Mark Warburton 18 months ago, only managed three goals in 20 Scottish Premiership games last season and it seems very unlikely that he’ll play for Rangers again.
