The Spaniard is currently on loan at the club from Espanyol.
Tottenham Hotspur finally secured a new deal for their goalkeeper and captain Hugo Lloris this week.
The Frenchman signed on the dotted line of a deal that will now keep him at the club until 2022.
His signing was one of the key targets the club had identified as crucial going forward as they continue to tie down their prized assets on long-term deals.

But whilst everyone is happy that Lloris has signed a new deal, what does it mean for their Spanish loanee Pau Lopez?
Signed from Espanyol in the summer his arrival is seen as a sign of the future in the goalkeeping ranks at Spurs – as they have an option to buy him permanently.

But he is still behind Lloris and Michel Vorm in the pecking order and with doubts over Lloris’ future now abated – surely he has no long-term future at the club.
Dutchman Vorm is happy being the number two stopper for Spurs whilst Lloris is going nowhere. With Luke McGee impressing out on loan at Peterborough United it is hard to see a future with Lopez at Spurs.
