Several Crystal Palace fans have turned on Damien Delaney after the defender’s role in the Eagles’ 2-1 FA Cup defeat against rivals Brighton & Hove Albion on Monday.

36 year old Delaney was making only his third appearance of the season for Palace, whom he joined in the summer of 2012.
