West Ham are getting ready to drop Joe Hart against Chelsea. Surely England will now have to do the same?

Joe Hart will not be recalled into the West Ham United starting XI to face Chelsea this weekend, according to the Sun, after not being able to play in the 2-1 defeat to Manchester City.
Hart is on a season long loan from the Citizens and was unable to feature against his parent club, but his replacement Adrian impressed in what was considered an improved performance at the Etihad Stadium, despite the result.

The England international has been greatly criticised since his arrival in East London, not least against Everton in a 4-0 loss in which he rushed out of his box to clear, but only found Wayne Rooney who proceeded to lob it over the stranded goalkeeper.
New Hammers manager David Moyes is now considering leaving Hart out of his team when the Blues visit the London Stadium on Saturday (December 9).
If true then surely the 30-year-old’s time as the number one under Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate is over? Especially with Jack Butland having returned from injury at Stoke City.

Even before being dropped there were many that felt Hart was no longer the best option for the nation, with Toffees’ stopper Jordan Pickford and Southampton’s Fraser Forster also in the running. Then there is also Tom Heaton, currently injured at Burnley.
If Hart can’t keep his place under Moyes then perhaps it would be time for Southgate to come to the same conclusion.
