Was that the beginning of the end for Glasgow Rangers winger Dalcio at Ibrox?

Rangers fans were ‘treated’ to a rare sighting of Dalcio in the 1-0 win over Atletico Mineiro in Florida on Friday morning.
They hadn’t seen the 21-year-old winger since way back in September – and the Portuguese posted a reminder as to why he has made just one Premiership appearance this season.
Playing in an unfamiliar left-back role, Dalcio, who started the friendly, was caught napping on a number of occasions this morning and only the post and a save from Jak Alnwick saved the Portugal Under-21 ace from being responsible for a goal.

At the other end, there was very little to write home about as the Benfica loanee, who got his Rangers career off to a shocker in the defeat by Progres Niederkorn in July, proved that he isn’t all that great in an attacking sense either and surely his time is up at Ibrox.
Graeme Murty’s side conclude their winter visit to the United States with another friendly against Corinthians on Saturday, but surely the 43-year-old has seen enough to know that Dalcio isn’t going to play a role in his first team when the domestic calendar resumes.

Murty has already got one Pedro Caixinha flop off the payroll following Carlos Pena’s loan to Cruz Azul, and it’s time that the Gers boss terminates Dalcio’s loan and sends him back to Benfica.
