Levy gets it right… again
Fresh after sacking Nuno and appointing Antonio Conte, Tottenham have just announced their pricing structure for the Carabao Cup quarter-final against West Ham United.
Now, Spurs have some of the most expensive ticket prices in the league and Levy has rarely been one to offer discounts to the fans.
Remember when a minimal amount of supporters returned last year after covid restrictions, and Tottenham fans had to pay £60 to watch their side?
Well, Levy’s approach for the quarter-final may just be helping to earn him some much needed credit.
Tottenham have announced that tickets to their game against West Ham will be set at £25.
And Spurs fans are delighted and surprised to see tickets going so cheaply.
Sell out pending?
The discounted price means that Tottenham will surely expect a sell out for their game against the Hammers in December.
It will be interesting to see just how seriously Antonio Conte takes the competition too.
The League Cup may well be Tottenham’s best chance of winning a trophy this season, especially after Manchester City’s exit.
While the tournament typically doesn’t top a club’s list of priorities at the start of the season, it may be wise for Conte to really go for the trophy now.
Tottenham are potentially just three wins away from delivering their first piece of silverware since 2008, and that would be some start to the Italian boss’s time in charge.
West Ham will pose a tough challenge for Spurs though.
David Moyes’ men have been in wonderful form this season and will surely be expected to name their strongest line-up when they do take on Spurs over the Festive period.
